So, my mother-in-law called me up the other day, and
informed us that her step-son (yes, we both have crazy mixed up families!) was
getting married! We had met her many times, and she’s a great girl!
They
decided to do a low-key courthouse wedding, and didn’t plan on any kind of
celebration.
Well. If you know my MIL, you know that that was not going
to happen! We have a family get-together every year around the Fourth of July,
and she decided that the bride and groom needed a wedding cake! And who does
she call on for her decorative caking needs? Me of course!
Needless to say, the bride loves flowers and butterflies! I
bought the butterflies off etsy, and everything on the cake (except some flower
wires) is edible! Everyone enjoyed it, and I am so happy that the bride and
groom loved it! She even took the butterflies home!
